Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Homework – Week 2
Thank you so much for joining Rebecca Churt and me today for our second Search Engine Optimization (SEO) webinar. During the webinar, Rebecca explained how to plan your SEO strategy, how to use HubSpot to conduct your keyword research, and how to optimize your website pages for search engines best practices. SEO requires a substantial time commitment. If you are not fully committed, you will probably end up cutting corners and not see the results you want.

- Use Keyword Grader as the keeper of your keywords. Use it as a backlog of ideas.
- Export your website pages using Page Grader, and use the SEO worksheet and 9 Steps Search Engine Optimization Guide to lay out your plan.
- Use Link Grader to measure the quality of your links. Don’t just focus on quantity.
- Evaluate metrics other than just rank. Have lead conversion as your primary goal.

Next week is our final SEO webinar. Rebecca is going to walk you through how to fine-tine your search engine optimization. She will be providing you with tips on what you can do every week and every month to improve your rankings and generate more leads. We will also review a couple more customer websites and explain how you should be measuring your results.
