Five tips for using the new HubSpot Settings screens

We just gave the Settings screens a make over, adding some new functionality and making it easier for you to get set up in the product. Here are five quick tips for getting the most out of the new Settings screens. As always, feel free to give us feedback using the orange feedback tab across all the Settings screens.

1. Access all your settings easily with the left navigation bar

2. Add an image we can use to identify you across the product (or we'll pick up your Gravatar if you have one)

3. Easily manage your HubSpot Email Settings for yourself, or others on your Account.

4. Miss an email? Resend any of the Daily, Weekly, or Monthly emails right from the Settings screen.

When's this going to show up in our hubspot portals? Thanks for everything you do for Inbound Marketing Agencies!!

@Dave, @Remington, try refreshing your browser and clicking on the link in the user dropdown in the navigation bar. It should be out to all accounts now!

The old navigation was far more intuitive. It was very difficult at first to find out how to get to what had been called "Create a web page." You'd think clicking on "Content" in the nav bar would get you there. For those of us whose main responsibility is writing web content and not the e-mail function, it would be helpful if you sent out a list of your new terminology, such as you now use "Page Manager" not "File Manager."

Just sayin'... the new system is confusing...

@Nancy - thanks for the feedback. We're covering more detail on the navigation change in this forum thread: http://forums.hubspot.com/discussion/39876/product-update-new-navigation-bar-now-in-beta

Quick comment - maybe consider putting drop downs on the new nav menus. That will help considerably. Thanks from an inbound marketing agency.

How do I access the Blog report? It seems to be missing from the new Nav. Thanks

@Julia - The Blog Analytics report is now part of the Pages app. If you click on Content, it is link in the upper right of the app.

Thanks for showing us the new features. As with any change, some will resist because everything is different. I appreciate the tutorials and blogs on how to use the new features and appreciate the progress!

Yep - this is far from intuitive. I have been with Hubspot for years. Now I need to update a page and can't even figure out to how to get to my website to change the content.

I understand the need for continuous improvement on your part, and I understand having to take some time to learn a new system on my part. But I am a solo businessperson and I don't have a team of people or a ton of time to try to figure out what should be a basic.

Ditto on Doug Kirk's comment- on the new nav bar enable us to hover over to see what's "beneath" or put in drop downs

Can't find anything anymore. Where are stats for number of blog subscribers?
Posted @ Tuesday, July 03, 2012 10:47 AM by Nancy Millar
@Nancy - If you click on "Content", you'll see a link to Blog Analytics in the right column of the Pages app.
