Hi!
I'm Alex Hutson, a HubSpot Certified Trainer at HubDo.
Since 2009, I've been working in marketing and communications at a senior level, supporting a wide variety of clients in numerous sectors, from fashion to financial services, creatives to carers, local authorities to leopard tamers (not really, I haven’t worked with any leopard tamers yet) – I’ve gained a lot of experience, particularly since working as a HubSpot Solutions Partner since 2017.
My teaching career started as an entrepreneurial 15-year-old when I started teaching the guitar to fellow students and their parents! And since 2012 I've been teaching degree-level Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) digital strategy and implementation courses (amongst others). This has given me a great foundation for teaching as a HubSpot Certified Trainer.
As well as doing more formal bespoke training engagements, I find myself in an 'always teaching' position when advising prospects and clients on a daily basis.
I'm always in helping mode, it's totally my "why?" (ref: Simon Sinek) and so I love training and coaching. I approach training with bags of enthusiasm and a broad and specialist knowledge of both sales and marketing. I can answer a lot of questions relating to both the strategic and tactical use of digital marketing and more specifically, HubSpot.
I love the jaw-dropping lightbulb moments when something just clicks into place for my students and clients. It sends tingles down my spine and my hairs prickle. Teaching is such fun. I can't ever see myself stopping.
