Weeks 2-5 are considered the project period. Students will meet with their clients weekly to review and receive feedback on their project work.  An assigned representative from your company must be available to support your student over the course of the full 4-week project period. Customers should expect to dedicate one hour each week to meeting with their assigned student for the duration of the program.

Students will participate in training sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays. Clients are required to meet with their students at a mutually convenient time between Wednesday and Friday each week. This allows students to directly apply and demonstrate what they are learning in training to their client project.

Week 6 is the program wrap up including student submitting their final deliverable.

To participate in this program, HubSpot customers (including Solutions Partners and Providers) must:

  • Have an active HubSpot Marketing Hub Starter or Starter Suite bundle subscription. (Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise subscribers are not eligible, other Hubs can be of any tier)
  • Be a new LinkedIn Ads user or have not spent on LinkedIn Ads in the past 90 days.
  • Be based in North America. (Students will be based in the US or Canada and working remotely from a US timezone)
  • Be enthusiastic about working with and supporting a trained college or university student.
  • Be available to meet weekly with your assigned student for the duration of the 4- week program as well as attend an orientation webinar.

Before being matched with a student, HubSpot customers are expected to:

  • Select a representative from their business to be the primary point of contact for the student during the project period.
  • Understand that the primary purpose of this program is for students to introduce customers to LinkedIn Ads and demonstrate how LinkedIn Ad campaigns can be leveraged within a business's overall digital advertising strategy. Due to the nature of LinkedIn Ads specifically, campaigns may not yield results by the end of the program. However, businesses can expect to gain an understanding of how to analyze campaign results as ads continue to run post-program and how they can continue to successfully utilize LinkedIn Ads in the future.
During the customer project period, HubSpot customers are expected to:
  • Be available during the full 4-week project period to support the student and communicate feedback during weekly meetings. Customers should expect to commit 1-2 hours weekly over the course of the 4 week project period.
  • Customers will be required to attend an orientation webinar, project kick-off meeting, and a final presentation meeting where students will present their work.
  • Avoid having students work outside of the project scope, making sure that they can focus primarily on building LinkedIn Ad campaigns using the $1000 in LinkedIn Ad credit to drive growth for their business.

As a part of the HubSpot x LinkedIn Ambassador Program, students are expected to:

  • Have some prior experience with HubSpot through their college or university as a part of HubSpot's Education Partner Program.
  • Have an interest in learning how to effectively launch, manage, and analyze LinkedIn Ad campaigns.
  • Complete program prerequisites including HubSpot's Marketing Software Certification

During the program students are expected to:

Students will meet with their clients at least once per week between Wednesday and Friday. Students should spend 30 hours total over the course of 4 weeks completing the project. The student and customer will work together to determine a meeting schedule for the project.
  • Utilize the full $1000 LinkedIn Ad credit to build, manage, and analyze LinkedIn Ad campaigns that drive business growth for their customer.
  • Proactively communicate with their customer to provide project updates and ask for support.
  • Utilize office hours hosted by HubSpot and LinkedIn instructors for project support.
  • Gain valuable work experience and be able to communicate the potential and value of LinkedIn Ads for their client's business.

This program has the added benefit of tackling the issues of unpaid student labor, which exacerbate inequalities related to the representation of different racial groups and genders within our workforce.  By offering short-term, paid opportunities to students eager to network and work hard - regardless of geography or major - this program serves as a solution to bridge the opportunity gap and enables any college student to gain valuable experience in working with LinkedIn Ads specifically.
