  3. Look at trending hashtags, trending facebook topics, and LinkedIn posts with a high level of engagement
  4. Use these trending topics to become part of the conversation.

It’s a lot easier to join a trending conversation or topic than start a new one. Use your research to leverage trends and join in on the conversations your prospects are having.

Step 2: Optimize your company’s profiles.

  1. Include company logo, a clear and concise description of what you do, and link to your company’s website in every profile.
  2. Create a social media style guide- this will establish the rules of your social publishing so that you have a consistent way to share content and respond to people.

  4. Keep posts to 250 characters, use 80 words or less, and include images, videos, and links that will encourage followers to engage or respond.
  5. LinkedIn is the professional- share relevant Industry content or make announcements about your business.
  6. No matter what, make sure you’re sharing relevant content that your target audience will find engaging.
  7. Get creative! engage with followers using personalized messages and responses.

Use the 80/20 rule- 80% of your posts should be educational, providing relevant information to your followers. 20% of your posts can be promotional about your brand, products, or services.
