At HubSpot's Education Partner Program, we're passionate about supporting student organizations with educational resources, networking opportunities, and free Enterprise software.

Benefits to joining the program

Student organizations who partner with us find benefits in using HubSpot’s free Enterprise software, increased support for job opportunities, and resources such as guest lectures, visits to HubSpot's HQ, networking opportunities, and unique insights in working in the marketing, sales, or services fields.

How to Apply

Eligibility

  • Your club must ...
    • be located at a 2- or 4- year accredited college or university
    • be tied to educational and professional development opportunities in marketing (including communications, PR, etc.), sales, and/or customer service/support.
    • have a faculty sponsor who agrees to join the Education Partner Program (a free educational program) if they have not already. The application process takes two minutes. This is the link to apply.
    • plan on being an active club, with events and opportunities available to members.
    • have up to two members commit to being future points of contact in the upcoming term.
  • Your application must be submitted before the deadline on Monday, July 19, 2021. 

Applications will be judged on the following:

  • The campus group’s past activity and organizational structure. New clubs are still encouraged to apply and elaborate on future plans!
  • Thoughtfulness and thoroughness of freeform answers relating to club accessibility, leadership, future plans, and its positive impact on its members. For a PDF of our application prior to applying, click here

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Any club at a 2- or 4- year accredited college or university is eligible to apply for this program. Though we do ask about past activities of your organization in our application, we encourage new clubs to apply and to articulate upon the plans they intend to undertake in the coming academic year.

    Lastly, we encourage clubs whose cornerstones include accessibility and inclusion. This can include - but are not limited to - clubs that serve certain affinity groups, identity groups, and work with businesses or organizations  in their communities.

  • Yes. Any and all groups from a single institution are encouraged to apply without fear that they will compete against one another. 

  • Yes. Though we do encourage clubs to tell us about past activities in the application, we encourage new clubs to apply and to articulate upon the plans they intend to undertake in the coming academic year.

  • We welcome applications from any club at a 2- or 4- year accredited college or university. All of our meetings and activities will be held virtually.

    Please note that our primary mode of communication will be in English.

    We do not expect the application to take you more than 30-60 minutes to complete

     

  • Student organizations who partner with us find benefits in using HubSpot’s Enterprise software (which we will give you for free, though you are not required to use it), increased support for job opportunities within and outside of HubSpot, and additional resources such as guest lectures and networking opportunities. 

    In addition, HubSpot will work on identifying opportunities for professional or personal development. These include opportunities that will be exclusive to any members of organizations in this program (i.e., a job search panel, free tickets to our INBOUND conference, co-hosting events on your campus, etc.)

  • Any members that serve as the points of contact for HubSpot will need to attend a training with other members of the program in order to understand the benefits and expectations of being a part of this program. Any members of your organization's team are welcome to attend even if they do not have leadership roles. All meetings with be virtual. Typically, there is at least one meeting per semester. 

    In addition - outside of these meetings - you are expected to maintain proactive communication should your organization ever want to organize special events for your club or should you club have any specific questions. 

    You will not be required to adopt HubSpot software in your student organization, though you will be offered free Enterprise software as a part of your participation in this program. 

  • The application to be considered for the Fall 2020 cohort is due on Monday, July 19th, 2021

  • Organizations will be notified by August 9th, 2021, if they are selected for the program.

    The first meeting will take place within the first month of classes, most likely end of August or in September. 

  • Your stay in this program will be for one academic year, though you are always encouraged to re-apply.

  • No; though we give you the opportunity to use Enterprise software, you are welcome - and encouraged -  to continue using any software that you and your leadership team prefers.
