Program Overview

AI is changing how businesses work, and in today's industries, professionals must understand how to use these AI tools strategically and efficiently.

This new AI Foundations Bootcamp is a free, 6-week applied learning program designed to give business students real, hands-on experience with the AI tools shaping the marketing, sales, and customer success industries.

This program isn't a lecture series - it's designed to provide each student with a unique, applied learning experience. Each week, you'll work with the HubSpot software to apply what you're learning to an actual business scenario drawn from HubSpot customer case studies, and build toward a project that demonstrates what you can do — not just what you know.

What you'll learn:

  • How to navigate today's AI landscape and choose the right tool at the right time.
  • How to use HubSpot's Breeze AI tools for marketing, content creation, and business development.
  • How to build and utilize AI Agents for efficiency.
  • How to think and communicate like an AI-fluent business professional.
The program includes 90-minute weekly live training sessions + asynchronous project assignments. After successful completion of the program, students will receive an industry-recognized Certificate of Completion and a $300 stipend.

Program Structure

The HubSpot AI Foundations Bootcamp is a 6 -week program that includes live instruction, independent learning, and applied project work. The program includes:

  • Program Pre-requisites - completed before Week 1
  • 5 weeks of live bootcamp sessions focused on skill-building and project execution
  • 1 week of wrap-up and final project submission

Students join the program as a part of a cohort alongside other WGU students. Community building and peer engagement are an important part of the program and help contribute to students' success. Students should expect to spend 4-6 hours per week attending the live sessions and completing project assignments.

Note: While students from across the WGU School of Business are encouraged to participate, the program maintains a significant focus on AI within digital marketing and business development. Prior marketing experience is not required; however, successful students in the program will have an interest in exploring these topics.

Live sessions are the core of the bootcamp experience and are designed to be interactive and collaborative.

Live sessions will include:

  • HubSpot trainer-led teaching and demos

  • Interactive use cases and applied examples

  • Live Q&A and discussion

  • Breakout room activities with peers

Training session attendance is required! Each student is allowed one excused absence. If a session is missed, students are required to review the session recording.

All students complete a final project that demonstrates their ability to apply HubSpot tools, frameworks, and best practices to a real-world business scenario.

Final project expectations:

  • Apply concepts learned during the bootcamp

  • Solve a realistic marketing, sales, service, or business challenge based on one of the four provided case studies.
