Program Structure

This 8-week applied learning program combines interactive training with experiential learning projects. First, students will participate in training sessions that introduce students to new skills in a hands-on learning environment with instructor feedback provided along the way.

Starting in week 3, students and clients are expected to meet once a week for the duration of the project period. Milestones and checkpoints are used along the way to standardize the program experience and ensure students and clients collectively engage with the program at the same pace.

This program is fast-paced and self-driven. Students should expect to commit a minimum of 5-7 hours per week, over the course of 8 weeks, completing the program.

Training Sessions:
Monday and Tuesday - 3:00 - 5:00 PM MT.

Each 2-hour training session will be hosted on Zoom and led by HubSpot Academy facilitators. The training curriculum will focus on 3 primary objectives:

  • Enable students to navigate HubSpot CRM effectively.
  • Equip students with the skills to build compelling marketing campaigns using AI tools within HubSpot.
  • Ensure students can complete client projects involving AI-enhanced marketing campaigns for assigned HubSpot customers.

Training sessions will be highly interactive and are designed to give students ample opportunities to practice skills in large and small groups. Students should expect to receive homework assignments after each session.

Students will begin meeting with their client during the program training sessions and will work on their client projects for 4 weeks. Students will spend 1 hour each week meeting with their HubSpot client on their project.

The primary objective of the project is for students to use HubSpot’s AI tools to create a comprehensive marketing campaign for their assigned clients. The project will include the creation and launch of various marketing assets. Students will work closely with their clients to understand their needs and design effective, AI-enhanced marketing campaigns. Students will educate their clients on the value of HubSpot's AI tools and demonstrate how these tools can be best utilized within the client's existing marketing strategies.

Clients will provide students with brand guidelines and other materials to support their work. Students will receive a project checklist to help guide their client meetings and ensure that projects stay on track.

Week 1 of the program will begin with an orientation where students will be introduced to the program and HubSpot.

During weeks 2-8, every Thursday, program instructors will host optional office hours where students can ask questions, debrief their client meetings, and learn from peers. While office hours are optional, we do encourage you to block this time as it can be very helpful when completing your project!

During the program, each student will have access to a Slack group/channel where they can ask questions and receive asynchronous support. This is also a great space to connect with other program participants.

This program has the added benefit of tackling the issues of unpaid student labor, which exacerbates inequalities related to the representation of traditionally underrepresented groups in our workforce.  By offering short-term, paid opportunities to students eager to network and work hard - regardless of geography - this program serves as a solution to bridge the opportunity gap and enables any college student to gain valuable experience in working with HubSpot specifically.

MBA Healthcare Management and MBA Information Technology Management students are not eligible at this time.
