Reporting & Performance
Lesson description
Web analytics is the collection, reporting, and analysis of data generated by users who visit and interact with a website. The purpose of web analytics is to measure user behavior, optimize the website’s user experience, and gain insights to support meeting business objectives, like increasing conversions and sales.
This amount of data can be overwhelming at first, so it’s important to identify a few key metrics as you’re getting started. In this lesson, we’ll cover how to report on which channels are driving visitors to your website and their level of engagement. Then, we’ll talk about how you should optimize based on report type to ensure you’re getting the most out of your data.
