Lesson transcript

Your team’s information probably doesn’t live in just one place.

Customer data may live in HubSpot, while documents, notes, and other important context are stored across the tools your organization uses every day.

Normally, finding everything you need means opening multiple tools, running several searches, and manually piecing the information together.

That’s where Breeze Assistant connectors can help.

A connector creates a bridge between Breeze Assistant and another tool. It allows Breeze Assistant to access relevant information from that connected source and use it when responding to your requests.

Here’s a simple way to think about how it works.

First, you ask Breeze Assistant a question or give it a task.

Next, Breeze Assistant looks for relevant information within the connected tools available to you.

Then, it uses that context to produce a response—such as a summary, a set of insights, or recommended next steps.

For example, imagine that you’re preparing for a customer call. Important details about that customer may exist across multiple sources. Instead of searching each tool separately, you could ask Breeze Assistant to gather the available customer context and summarize the most important points.

Connectors don’t simply copy all your information into Breeze Assistant. They allow Breeze Assistant to retrieve and use relevant information when it is needed for a supported request.

However, a connector is only one part of the process.

The correct tool must be connected. The information must be available in that tool. You must have permission to access it. And your prompt must clearly explain what you want Breeze Assistant to find or accomplish.

Connectors do not override your organization’s permissions. If you cannot access information in the original tool, you should not expect Breeze Assistant to retrieve it through a connector.

You should also review important information before using it. Breeze Assistant can make research faster, but you are still responsible for confirming details that could affect a customer interaction or business decision.

The main benefit of connectors is context.

They extend Breeze Assistant’s ability to work with information beyond a single source, helping you reduce manual research and bring relevant details together more efficiently.

As you begin using connectors, remember four steps:

Connect the appropriate tool.

Ask a clear and specific question.

Review the information Breeze Assistant provides.

Then, turn that information into an informed action.

In the next video, we’ll put this process into practice by using connectors to prepare for sales activities.
